Johan T. Anderson is a filmmaker and commercial director born and raised on the gusty plains of Fargo, North Dakota. He has written and directed pieces for some of the most iconic brands in the world including Samsung, Starbucks, Converse and Google. As a former Art Director and Creative Director in the NYC advertising agency world, he is deeply collaborative from the pitch to the polish. He is known for his keen eye for detail, strong aesthetic choices, deep understanding of character and fresh production design. He embraces motion and lyricism not only with camerawork but with his blocking and movement direction. His films have screened all over the world including the Cannes Film Festival.
