Cardboard Spaceship is seeking a new Head of Business Development

We are Hiring!!!

Cardboard Spaceship is a full-service production company that works with some of the largest agencies in the world to create content for their clients and brands. We have offices in Dallas and NYC and are looking to hire a new Head of Business Development to continue growing and leading our company’s commercial production development and agency relationships.

The ideal candidate for this position would be someone with an extensive career at an advertising agency or a large-scale production company with a good working knowledge of the industry. This candidate will work directly with the CEO and executive team to strategize solutions for developing a pipeline of new business.

This primary role will be to build relationships with agencies and brands through networking, cold calling, advertising, or other means of generating interest for commercial production opportunities.

Here’s what we are looking for:

5-10 years+ in a business development or sales executive role within an agency or production company with a track record of success,
A deep understanding of marketing, and creative strategies related to public relations, investor relations, advertising agencies and / or brands,
Great experience with pitching both small and large-scale production contracts,
Strong communication and written skills,

Here’s what the role looks like:

Initiate and develop new client relationships with agencies and brands,
Building business relationships with current and potential clients,
Identify and create a sales pipeline of commercial production opportunities,
Manage the sales process from beginning to end, creating proposals, negotiating, closing the deal,
Strategize and pitch production ideas that align with the client’s needs,
Work with the Head of Production to produce budgets to fit their production needs,
Analyze the results and efficiency of the sales process and present recommendations for improvement.

Location:

Dallas / Fort Worth TX or NYC (Preferred but not mandatory)
